This wont be a matter of which QB throws better, but more so which QB can throw less worse.

After Travis Wilson's 6 picks, he still has a much better passer rating than Taysom.

BYU wins this game by 10 or more. Georga tech wont be able to run effectivly against us.

As far as the team up north, well Stanford will come into the tin can called RES, show them what it takes to be in the PAC 11 + a team that will be at the botton for a very long time, and roll out of SLC laughing and thanking them for a nice practice game in between real games. Now that I have riled up all the trolls... Utah is a good team but they cant compete with Stanford. After this game they will get a couple wins just not against anyone good.

Chris B,
Please remind us all the names of all the teams outside the State of Utah Travis Wilson has lead Utah to wins over this season? I love the latest spin and excuses for Travis throwing 6 picks last game, because he was on his sick bed until game time!!! Poor baby!!! Coach Whit should not have played him if he was too sick to recognize the difference between Red & black and powder blue & Gold!!! Thanks for your continued hate of all things BYU!!!

Go Cougs!!!
Go Stanford!!!

Reno,

Just remember, however "bad" we are, you're worse!

Isn't it funny byu fans jump on the bandwagon of the teams that beat Utah, since they cant! Ya, we may be a step below some of the Pac 12 teams. And you're a step below us.

Taysom got better this week against a pretty good defense. Which way did Travis go???

Which is a metaphor for the season. By year's end, BYU stands a decent chance of going to a bowl game, winning it and being ranked. Utah?

Utah has already enjoyed their high-water mark for the year, and will still be trying to convince anyone who will listen that, as bad as they are, they at least beat a ranked bowl winner in BYU.

There, now I feel better. Reality is, Chris, I DO hope you hit six wins this year. A bowl eligible Utah MIGHT just end up playing BYU. Then we could be ranked, bowl winner and put Utah to rest for two more years.

"After Travis Wilson's 6 picks, he still has a much better passer rating than Taysom."

Overall, but while Taysom has been steadily improving, Travis took a huge step backward last week:

Taysom Hill 17/31 (55%), 278 yds, 3 TD, 1 int, 155.7 rating
Travis Wilson 22/44 (50%), 288 yds, 2 TD, 6 int, 92.7 rating

Expect more of the same this week.

If Switzer was right, it's more like BYU and Utah each lost a game it should hace won (UVa, Oregon State). BYU has already won a game it should have lost (Texas), while Utah is still waiting for that one.

Wilson threw more INTs against UCLA then Taysom has all season. In the last 3 games Travis is averaging 3 INT a game, Taysom is averaging 1 a game. Bottom line is, Taysom and the BYU offense continues to improve and get better while Travis seems to be regressing. I know people love to make every excuse in the book for Travis but there really is no excuse for how awful he played against UCLA.

CougarProwl,

Keep telling yourself that Middle Tennessee and Utah State are the same quality as UCLA and Oregon State.
