Every politician who is willing to take a stand is criticized by someone. Was it necessary to refer to John Swallow as "embattled"? A federal commission cleared him of the charges. In school, I was taught using negative adjectives to describe people you don't like is considered yellow journalism. Please show respect for our Attorney General and stick to the facts.

Senator Bell's and Lieutenant Governor Bell's incidents with School Vouchers and ensuring the public schools looked bad is not why he left. That is refreshing for a Davis County resident who had shown some favoritism toward some constituents. Money should not have been an issue as his Governor had $85,000 to help him in his salary. DePaulis wasn't as fortunate in the process.

Well he is almost next door to us in Mt. Pleasant. Seems like a good man for the job and we wish him all the good health and success...we are certainly in need of good men and women who love this country, loves Sanpete Valley and support our military.
