Corbin, please explain how you plan on"relying on the veterans early"? In my opinion the veterans can help the youngsters grow in practice and giving advice during the game. Other than that these veterans really only need to spell the young starters and give them a chance to catch their breath. If you"re relying on the veterans to help us win a few extra games, then it don't think you get the vision. Develop and test the young core, period. If we lose 60 games that just means a higher pick in next years rich draft. The veterans are here to satisfy the league salary requirements with the team and their expiring contracts next year will then free up space for solid free agents next year. Corbin's has shown an affinity to play veterans at the expense of developing young talent and that's not the current plan for this team.

Here we go again!!!

"Former Warriors Jefferson and Biedrins — and Rush when he returns — might work into the mix more in the beginning stages of the season, Corbin hinted. Most of this Jazz squad is so raw, and these guys, even if past their primes, offer veteran know-how.

“They are the experienced guys,” Corbin said, “so we are going to have to rely on them a little bit earlier to make sure they help this young group grow.”

Watch Corbin roll Marvin Williams out in a wheelchair or a walking boot for 30 minutes and play him "...just because he is a veteran".

Corbin starts this all over again, when clearly the decision has been made to give the team to the young guys, then he needs to go. My guess is that is why Sloan was hired back...for the day they have to boot Corbin because of his love affair with veterans who don't produce anything on the oourt.
