One thing that occurred to me late in the game was the recruiting of these two teams. Two guys in particular, Deon Hollins, Jr., and Myles Jack, both came down to the final week of their recruitment to pick between UCLA and Utah (along with ASU and UW in Jack's case, and Notre Dame in Hollins'). I saw Hollins play, though he didn't have much impact, but Jack was one of the Bruins' biggest playmakers. Having one or both of these players in black jerseys instead of white last night may have done a lot to swing the favor of the game. These are the types of guys it seems like the Utes are gradually starting to get and much more come very close to getting with each year. Hopefully the Utes will continue to improve on closing deals on those types of hot battles.

6 interceptions? What, was he channeling Riley Nelson? Utah had it's chances. In the end, they choked.
