Utah is lucky to be in the South, where there is only one good team, UCLA. In the North, Oregon is the class, followed by Washington (this year) and Stanford. Utah has the bad luck to play UO and Stanford this year, both games will leave them crying. Every team on the remaining Ute schedule is capable of beating Utah - even Colorado, if recent history is any indication.

Hard to understand where all the Ute arrogance comes from. Oh, yeah, 4-0 against BYU. Well, THAT'S an accomplishment.....Good thing U won your bowl game already, because I doubt there is another one in your future this year.

Where will all you byu fans be hiding when Utah wins tonight?

Get your crow ready

Utah 27

I'll be there tonight, rain or shine.

Will U?

Good thing Ducks like the rain, Chris. Have fun after the Autzen slaughter....

"Utah's season will be over with nothing but the annual pillow fight in the Rockies to look forward to."

I really have to hand it to byu fans...no one in the country knows better what it's like to have their season end after the first game. LOL!!

Did you enjoy the Virginia game, SportsAuthority?

J-Tex, if you are really a Duck fan living in Texas, why in the world would you spend time trolling Utah articles on a Utah based paper/website? Me thinks you are a Y fan in disguise as no Duck fan I know, especially one that doesn't live in Utah, would spend time leaving countless anti Utah remarks. Though that makes you no different than myriad of fans of other teams that have popped up the last couple of years (AKA BYU fans in poor disguise) trolling Utah articles. Sad really; too ashamed to claim your real team. Go Utes.

Utes will win 27-24. Enough said!!

People keep talking about Vegas odds, it opened at 3, it is now as high as 7 at Sportsbook. Some also keep talking about how last year the Utes only lost 21-14. Hey, I admit, Utah has all but owned UCLA from 2007 to 2011. Also, last years game was 21-7 until Utah scored with 3 minutes to go in the 4th. It was really not as close as some may think. I know watching last years game. I was not worried at all about Utah coming back. However, it is a new year, a new game, and we are at Utah tonight. I admit, I don't like the weather for this one, but we just have to play. I still like our chances.

It's an honor to have the nationally ranked UCLA Bruins coming to RES. Good luck to both teams.
If the Utes can pull it off, it will be their biggest win since the Sugar Bowl. Go Utes.

Utah beat the best from the SEC when they dumped Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. How did your Ducks fare against the SEC in BCS bowls? Do tell.

@ Bruin

A 7 point game is far more realistic then a 24 point game. We shall see.

Odds are the Bruins win this one. But you cant blame a Ute fan for going with his heart in this one. It will be a close game, weather may or may not effect the outcome, and a lucky bounce either way certainly could.

Go Utes! 38-34

Let me try to explain my thoughts. And it does not mean they are right by any means. I have seen every UCLA and every Utah game this year. Having watched the games, I like UCLA's Offense and Defense better. I think we are faster on both sides of the ball. This is only from what I have seen. I think UCLA is that much better, of course I am biased. I am a UCLA fan. I know we have not played the toughest competition, so a measuring stick may be flawed. But I honestly believe we are 24 points better. Now with that said, it is impossible to compare two teams until they are on the same field. I could be dead wrong, and if I am. I will be here tomorrow and give my props to the Utes, I promise. Also, with this weather, I am thinking this game will be a lot closer than some are thinking. The last time we were here and played in bad weather, we got bombed. Seriously, good luck to your Utes, I do hope my Bruins win. It will be closer, I agree.

Nicely done a Bruin, we shall see. Looking forward to this Thursday night, center stage, matchup! Sometimes comments are taken out of context. Let's revisit this after the game, I think it will be a hard fought close game, but I have been wrong before: once or twice! When it comes to college football, anything is possible!

The temperature will be about what it is in L.A at night in mid January. If UCLA keeps their starters in all game long, they just might be gasping for breath come 4th quarter.

Go Utes!

Chris B,
I do not claim to speak for all BYU fans but I do not feel the need to hide even if the Utes find a way to win tonight and I will be here to give my congrats just like I did after Utah beat my Cougs!!! I still think that UCLA is the better team and will win tonight!!! Good luck tonight! Utah is still looking for their first win against a team out of the State and bigger then the BYU win!!!LOL

Utes will spank the ucla tonight because we have a hiesman trophy canidate quarterback playing for us tonight. Just look at his stats laster year because that tells all. Write it down now as you read this for sure.

Re : Cletus

Give it up. Mildred in Fillmore has already done this, and better. Your shtick is not original and not funny.

To date, ucla's SOS ranks #130, while The U's ranks #39. This point seems continuously lost on you.

NU, not unlike UT/others, had zero business ever being ranked. Their name and, perhaps, their potential were behind it.

Wyoming is a perfect example, as they put over 600 yards total-O on nu in Lincoln, out-gaining nu, and narrowly lost by 3 points. Few weeks later, Wyoming visits Texas State and manages roughly half this total and gets utterly smashed, 42-21.

You continue to go on and on about these offensive numbers, among others, as if ucla has faced top-flight Ds. I'm not suggesting ucla lacks talent, this goes w/out saying, but it remains a fact that they've yet to be tested. Their sole game to which they can point was their game against nu....nebraska is a shell of what they were back in the day and you people need to understand, it's no great feat to go into memorial stadium and whoop them. Their D has been an enormous source of embarrassment for years now! They've continued right where they left off last season w/a triple-digit Total-D ranking!

I am not funny because I am right and you will see. The Utes are the best team because we are in a BCS conference and that makes us better by far and we have more players in the NFL than weber and byu and the utah aggies.

Go Utes tonight!

Saratoga Springs, UT

You have to read my last comment. It is contrary to everything you just said. I admitted that the schedule does not say much. Do you really think that Utah's schedule is really all that better? Do you really think that the Utes really have the #39 schedule in the country? And maybe they do? But maybe it is because of all their future games still to play. I don't know. Maybe it is teams like New Mexico State, Nevada, Colorado, WAZZU, and Utah that bring their schedule strength down, I don't know SOS means nothing to me. Ask Notre Dame last year, it didn't work out for them last year having the toughest schedule.

Your Utes schedule:

Utah State - Have they really been tested yet.
Weber State - Really? I know you don't want to go here
Oregon State - Weren't you one crying on here about how bad OSU was because they lost to Eastern Washington. They beat Utah, in Utah, at Rice Eccles
BYU - Sorry Y fans, but again really. They can't throw a TD, UCLA can

I will be here tomorrow win or lose, will you?

Salt Lake City, UT

Utah's season ended after their first conference game; the writing was already on the wall -whether Utah or Colorado will finish in the PAC basement is the only drama left.
