The only thing that will stop BYU in this game are the officials.

In other words Mildred, if USU wins it is because the refs gave it to us? Brilliant! BYU fans have a reputation of blaming losses on the refs and you uphold the tradition with admirable brevity.

it's o.k. tinplater, Mildred is a troll. Very very few cougarfans believe the world is out to get us. Looking forward to a great game on Friday. Go Cougs!

I think BYU will play better than expected. I see the game close. I just don't know if BYU can score in the red zone or make the big plays. I wouldn't be surprised for them run up a ton of go fast plays and amass a lot of yards. But what kind of yards? Scoring yards? Big play yards? I say they make the yards in between both sides of the 20 and fizzle inside their own territory and their opponents (USU).

Utah state will win byu because the mighty Utes won byu and won utah state also so utah state will win byu. The utes are the best team in the nation and will win the rosebowl.

I expect a defensive battle and a low scoring game. Turnovers will likely decide the winner. I am a fan of good defense so this should be another great game in the series. For BYU a lot will depend on continued improvement in the passing game and on the health of Jamaal Williams. They will also have to contain Chuckie. Van Noy and Fua need to come up big (and they usually do).

I don't like Utah teams beating up on each other.

Playing, and beating, out of state teams, make better national exposure, and recruiting.

This game is no where near as important as next weeks game against Boise. That said, after the tight losses to the y the past two years the Aggies need to remind the cougars what is like to come to Cache Valley.

The y might slow down Chuckie's running, but unlike the y's QB Keeton knows how to pass the ball. USU by 14+

This should be a great showdown between two teams that know each other really well! I'm expecting stellar rush defense on both sides, but I believe that BYU has better depth at linebacker and the defensive line. I am worried as most BYU fans are about the pass coverage, but I feel confident in Sorensen and Bills to help out with the deep routes. Chuckie is an excellent athlete and it will be interesting to see how he responds this year after a couple years of being chased around like a chicken with its head cut off and some hard hits that discourage him from running the ball too much. I'm hoping that they will put the pressure on early and take advantage of a seasoned offensive lineman in Kyle Whimpey. Go Cougars!
