Stop the QB run game and BYU has ZERO offense. Pretty easy to defend I would say. USU will beat the Y by 14 at least.

Good luck with that coach. You don't stand a chance. It hasn't been 100 years since the last USU W over BYU.

"Matt Wells: We're going to have to stop "the QB run game (against BYU)"

Looks like Utah State has BYU's offense all figured out. With the Aggies being evenly matched with the Utes. It's going to be a long night for Taysom Hill and that one dimensional BYU offense.

Ya, but that's all you have to do.

Let Hill throw all night long, your players have just as good of a chance at catching his passes as byu does

Go Aggies!

Second best team in the state.

"powerhouse" byu is only the 3rd best team in the state of Utah.

LOL

Excited for this game. Should be a good one. But honestly, it's not a matchup that is getting a lot of attention from fans of major programs.

BYU's defense has had no problems containing Keeton the past 2 yrs. He's averaged 165 yds passing, 23 yds rushing on 10 carries and has a PER of 109 in those 2 losses to BYU. Not sure what the big deal is about Keeton based on what he's shown. Now that all of the Aggie's NFL RB's are gone (Turbin, Smith, and the little guy last year) there's not much left to the USU offense to be worried about.

BYU's defense is going to have fun against USU wide receivers. They are a lot better than last year, and BYU's secondary is not to good this year.

The lack of knowledge by some posters is truly funny.
2010: USU 31 v byu 16 @ USU
2011: USU 24 v byu 27 @ byu
2012: USU 3 v byu 6 @ byu
2013: USU ? v byu ? @ USU

So much for your 100 year theory. I am sure Coach Wells has the game plan in hand.

But keep posting away stang08, you bring a dimwitted humor to these boards.

Now Big Cougar, no time to get cocky. Last yr. Ziggy had the game of his life, just mauled Keaton and he looked like he was scared on every play. The BYU D. is still good but Ziggy is gone. I also woundered why Keaton got all this buzz, but after watching a couple of games this yr., he is really good. GO COUGARS.

I see a low scoring 21-17 type of affair, with the Aggies on top.

Utah's D didn't contain Chuckie. Yeah, we lost, and I'm not taking anything away from Utah for it. We lost because Utah capitalized on dumb penalties and on a brand new secondary that didn't pick up routes. Maybe with more experience the Utah WRs don't get as open. Maybe not. Utah won, credit them.

Chuckie's stats for the game: 31/40, 314 yards, 2 TDs passing, 1 TD rushing, 85 yards rushing on 15 attempts. Great game for Chuckie. Not good enough to win, mind you, but Chuckie played very well.

Cougar fans who assume that because Chuckie played badly last year and the year before he will again play as badly do so blindly.

Won't be easy. I could be wrong, but I think I'm right. Aggies in a close one.

The Aggies had it rolling against the Utes until that faithful on-side kick. That turned the momentum and ultimately the game. The Cougars are pretty good defensively and that may be their only hope. Unless Taysom Hill has continued to improve his passing. It that's the case then it may be a long night for the Aggies. I look for another close one. Home field advantage may spell victory for the Aggies. A balanced attack for the Cougars may be their ace in the hole. I say it will go into overtime and the winner will be...let's just wait and find out!

@Ifel ofa-sofa

As you can see in all the scores YOU posted, USU only has one win. They can only beat BYU/Utah every 100 years. They have lost every year since the last W. Thank you for making my theory stronger.

The kink in BYU's armor is the O-line and the whole offensive scheme, not the QB. Anae's predictability makes it easy for teams to defend. If Ben Cahoon were still coaching, he'd have the receivers running precise routes, getting open, and catching the ball. Not so, with the current coaching staff.
