Sofa,

You guys should try going undefeated or winning a BCS bowl sometime. Or being a top 5 team.

It's fun.

But for now you'll just have to trust me.

Good luck against byu, you guys should beat your rival. If you do, you will be the only team in the state so far to beat their rival, as we don't play our rival Colorado until the end of the season.

I think we have been in very different parts of Logan! I have never seen fans or students so nasty and mean as those at USU. I have a daughter who graduated from BYU and is now at grad school at USU. She was so excited to go to school there. We were there for 2 weeks getting her settled and I was shocked by the response when people found out where she was from. In fact I was ashamed because my husband and I had gone to USU as undergrads. One guy we were talking to actually spit on her when he found out and walked away. She now will not say where she went to school unless pushed because of the nastiness. This week she has had horrible notes left on her apt door and car almost daily. At this point she has made plans to be out of Logan for the weekend because she is scared. I don't see that as very friendly and welcoming. And in case you are wondering, no, she is not loud, confrontational or in your face about BYU to others.

I have family connections to both USU and BYU. Along with many others, I sincerely hope the games between these 2 schools become the new biggest rivalry in the state. Utah likes to pick and choose whenever they want to play other in-state schools... at their leisure. The games between USU and BYU are more consistent and have become very competitive and fun to experience. I go to as many games as I can of both these schools. They are almost always a lot of fun and certainly very entertaining.

Starting last year, these are the only two in-state schools that still play in post-season bowl games.,, which is another thing they have in common.

And one more thing... you usually don't find the degree of arrogance with the fans of these 2 schools that you often find with the fans of the other big in-state school... which makes those of these 2 schools much more likable and a better fit.

I don't believe you for one second. "One guy we were talking to actually spit on her..." Not a chance.

no one commenting on here has ever watched a BYU-utah state game whether football or basketball. The aggie fans are far worse to BYU than even San Diego State or UNLV. I believe you Ganana!

The headline is funny. After all, they lost to Utah again and they will lose to BYU agai. So yes they sure do know how to take care of rivals hahaha.
