Who am I sir?

Ya gotta love a man like this! Especially giving everyone notice, "Don't mess with the Utes!"

Way to go, coach!

Our coach is cooler than your coach!

They should play the "Andy Griffith" theme the first time the Utes take the floor this fall!

great work by Coach K. Probably the only thing that would have been better is if he didn't go toot his own horn to the whole world about it.

Coach K should be justifiably proud of what he accomplished. How many more thefts did his actions prevent? We will never know, but at least this thief has been caught.

Coach K could have played the "Aw shucks" role and just said he was doing it because it was the right thing to do.

But in my opinion, the only thing worse than false humility, would have been standing by and letting the thief get away with all those stolen items.

We need more people, like Coach K, who are willing to intervene when they see something's wrong. Criticizing him because he's willing to express his pride in the apprehension of the thief doesn't merit much applause.

Was he tooting his horn, or sending notice?

Go Ute!
Go Runnin' Utes!

That is pretty cool, I have to admit it.

That is awesome, way to go, Coach.

Really, criticizing him because it became news? Reporters dig these things up. He did an interview. Get off his case. He did a good thing. Good for him.

“I said, ‘Yeah. Not only am I going to chase you, but I’m going to tackle you.” -Krystkowiak

Now if only Texas could do the same, their DC might still have a job.

False humility? Is that anything like false redemption in a SI article?

This proves the peace through show of strength idea. There was no tussle because the thief feared he could not win. Now we need those who want to dismantle or weaken our national defense to take notice of how this works, including the Executive Branch.

Coack K tweeted about his police work. rvalens -I think your criticism of my criticism doesn't warrant much applause.

Seriously though, Coach K is a classy guy for stopping this thief. The guy wasn't stealing Coach K's bike, nevertheless Coach K took the time from his busy life to help out the community and stop the theft.

This shall bring some good karma the Utes way. I was glad to read the good news. Nothing wrong about doing good and leaving the details to read about. It was a good deed and a good move.

Coach signed up for the long haul and has been diligent in rebuilding the Utes brick by brick. This microbrew is for you coach. You will build a brick house before long.

Cottonwood Heights, UT

This dude just gets better and better. I hope he stays at the U for a LONG, LONG time.

Glad he did it. Most people might not try to detain a thief but just his height and that he was going to tackle him would be enough for most to stop. Good job, coach k. And the utes rule. Good luck with the program and go utah.
