At the top of this story it is stated that a new princess show "draws more boys than girls". Then, in the article, it says that 42% of those who watched the new show were boys. Those two statements require some correlation as they appear to diverge.

Still, if a two year old boy, who cannot reach the TV or is not allowed to change channels watches that show it is because he really loves it, or is it just "on" and he gapes at it occasionally? Maybe the "problem-solving female" in this case is the lad's mother who chose it or just left the TV on the same channel. It's hard to get an opinion out of a two or three year old child.

It would be better to break up the sampling and give more details. I hear that two year old boys watch the news too, but does that mean that they, or their female counterparts, approve of the content or have strong political opinions?
