At least Lee and Cruz are doing something for us...Hatch only thinks of himself and his standing amongst his fellow democrats. It's beyond me to comprehend how our country has become so weak and the answer to that concern is...Democrats. They are dangerous and only for themselves and that is what scares me. We have a President who is not what he pretends to be. The power of persuasion is strong in politics and the power of money and standing amongst their cohorts is very powerful. I don't know how we will win but I just continue to pray to the Lord for His help in this very sad situation.

re: one vote on 9/24

Populist movements have a short shelf. I'm surprised the Tea party has lasted this long.

tp Mike Richards at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 25,

"Mike Lee stands for something, unlike Orrin Hatch."

I was about to say Mike is a Lee supporter... how unsurprising.

Then, a few posts later, O M M calls you out for supporting Uncle Orrin.

Spin out of them that one if you can.

"Thank you senator Lee. Those of us who have common sense applaud you!"

When did common sense change?

re: one vote
It was not a filibuster, it was a media show for the gullible.

Agreed. “…in politics, what is real is not important. The important is what appears to be real to the gullible” – pg 339 The Cobra Frederick Forsyth

Yes, General Pickett and his men were very brave. That does not mean that their charge was a good idea. The Republicans need a strategy to win, not to go down in flames.
