Its so perfect that Utah is 39 and byu is 40.

byu fans -

Can you now see why we decided to go play fresno for a couple years?

They are a better program than you.

We already are dominating the recruiting war in Utah(see head to head and average stars won EVERY year since our Pac 12 invite), so it makes sense also go to play in front on an important California recruiting base.

2013 Seniors 4-0 SWEEP!

How embarrassing that Van Noy, Hoffman, Riley Nelson, Jake Heaps, Jamaal Williams, Taysom Hill, and so many others will NEVER know what its like to beat their rivals!

How is a pretty bad 1-2 BYU team with no QB still #40 and only one spot behind the Utes in this ranking? Yeah that doesn't make any sense...

BYU and USU's rankings should be switched.

Utah/ucla wins Pac 12 South

Why don't you guys be good sports and support the premier program in Utah as we fight for the Pac 12 Title.

The winner of the Utah/UCLA game will win the Pac 12 south.

The fact that Bronco likes Hill a lot will doom the offense. He will let his affection cloud his judgement and we will be stuck watching Hill struggle to pass for the next several years.

With a 1-2 start, how's that quest coming along?

LOL

Is this the THIRD, FOURTH time bronco has started 1-2?

LOL

Remember when I promised I wouldn't post all year if byu won?

LOL!

Just like last year.

And the year before

And the year before

We OWN byU.

1-2 with losses to your rival and a very bad Virginia team.

And have you seen how everyone is mocking Texas for having lost to you?

LOL!

I've said 3 things since the beginning of the year:

1. Utah would beat byu and usu - CHECK
2. Utah would go 8-4 or 9-3(almost a guarantee at this point)
3. The winner of the Utah/UCLA game would win the Pac 12 South

The jealousy in provo and logan is palpable.

"Utah State checks in at No. 55 after losing a close game against USC in The Coliseum. Utah made one of the biggest moves of the week jumping 13 spots to come in at No. 39 after holding off BYU, 20-13. BYU dropped six spots to come in at No. 40 after its lackluster performance against the Utes on Saturday."

If Taysom doesn't improve his completion % to at 65%, BYU won't be bowling this year.

USU shot themselves in the foot in losing a close one in the Coliseum.

Utah played better than BYU and deserved the win, but it remains to be seen if the Utes can beat a decent PAC 12 opponent.

I agree with Chris B on one point, the winner of UCLA/utes will win the PAC 12 South. Problem is for Chris, it won't be close. UCLA wins easily. I used to pull for Utah except when playing USU, but have since changed because of Chris B. I bet the real Utah fan base just loves how he represents them. GO AGGIES.....

I've said 3 things since the beginning of the year:

1. utah would beat BYU and USU - BARELY
2. utah would go 8-4 or 9-3 (almost a guarantee at this point) - NOT A CHANCE
3. The winner of the utah/UCLA game would win the Pac 12 South - UCLA

The delusion on the hill is laughable.

Despite my little sister's rose-colored glasses fantasies, our Utes don't have a prayer of beating the Bruins.

Christy and Pac,

Remember when you guys told me byu would beat Utah?

I do!

LOL

@Sportsfan,

What's not left to see is if for the fourth year in row we can beat a bad byu team.

UCLA has the inside track for the PAC 12 South, followed by ASU and Arizona, in that order.

The annual pillow fight in the rockies will determine who finishes in the PAC 12 South basement.

I'm excited, but let's keep things in perspective. Utah really needs a win against UCLA or Stanford. Either is a tall task. The next 6 games are all tough. One game at a time. Utah needs a win against a quality PAC 12 team in the worst way!

The Bruins have gone into Rice-Eccles highly ranked before and come out very disappointed. They've lost the last three there. The last time a ranked UCLA played in RES (2007) the final score was 44-6, so you never know...

What's STILL left to prove is that the Utes can beat a PAC team with a winning record...

some time this decade might be nice.
