Great game by the Utes!!! Sucks that we will have two years to stew over this
until we get a chance to stop the streak!!! We will see what the Utes are truly
made of starting next week against UCLA!!! Go Cougs!!! Rise up!!!
Maxi, yes, Utah's .765 bowl winning percentage (highest among teams with
10+ appearances) is remarkable. Not sure what that has to do with a regular
season non-conference game, but I'm glad you can admit it.
You have to hand it to Whitt, he always has his teams ready for their bowls
I thought the Cougars were over-prepared. That bye week hurt them, causing them
to lose momentum. This video doesn't capture it, but on ESPN they noted
how silent the crowd had become when Utah pulled ahead. The team probably felt
that too, that feeling "Man, it wasn't supposed to go this way at
all."Great game though! Glad the refs weren't tricked into
a call on the last play. Things are better settled on the field.
byu ran 95 plays 27 more than the U Yet, the Ute D did not look
gassed at all. Ron Jaworski once said, "Points come out of the
passing game" Insert Taysom accuracy joke here. Byu reminds me of the
Steelers throw the ball 35 to 40 times a game and score 13 to 17 pts.
ZZZZZZZZZZZ! With BYU's D, they need a offense similar to what
Woody Hayes used or Bill Parcells did in 1987.
The last play was special. BYU receiver pulling down defender on top of him to
try and bait e ref into a penalty.9 of 12 and now 4 in a row.
Reminds me of the 80s in reverse.
Dres Andersen is still running and Utah is still owning the rivalry. Ya'll
can have the beehive boot with a boot out the door until 2016.
This is a two or three touchdown game if Rowe does not mock a pass interference
call on 4th down.BYU needed several week calls and replays but still lost
