I love having the better coach and better program!

PAC 12 pride!

2013 Ute Seniors SWEEP byU 4-0

My name says it all!

My favorite line in the whole article is when they talk about changes...

Utah joins the PAC 12...BYU goes independent and signs an exclusive agreement with ESPN???

Translation: she's not much to look at but she can really cook!!

Good luck today Coach W... As we say out here...take them out behind the wood pile and give em a stern whooping!!

2013 ute senior sweep by u 4-0.

Is that a typo. Are we talking about the 0-4 opening losses against the PAC-12 opponents?. LOL!

IF this game is the last that these two great coaches coach Utah and BYU in it will have happened because the University of Utah let Whittingham go.

BYU will win this one on its way to a top 15 ranking and another 10+ win season.

Utah hopefully finds enough wins after today to get bowl eligible.

I don't know the number of fans from BOTH schools who are so out of control with inappropriate comments that it makes this series just miserable. I for one am looking forward to a two year break so I don't have to listen to all the stupid comments. Both schools are good schools, and this game is just a football game. There is much more to life than a football game. I'm sure that both teams want to do their best and win. Neither team wants to lose, but some of the fans on both sides of the fence get so out of control that this activity is just crazy. I'm really glad we get a two year break. Maybe we just need to take a break from this rivalry permanently.

Six of eight games between the two determined on the final play of the game - Wow! Hoping this one will be just as exciting with BYU making the final play - or a 55-10 blowout would be okay also. Go Cougs!

In answer to the Jeff Call's last question in the article asking what more could anyone want from this rivalry game, I will paraphrase that poet and renaissance man Conan the Barbarian:

"What is best in life? To crush the Utes, to drive them before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women."

And then if we never play them again, I could not be more pleased.

Go Cougars.

Looking forward to the 2 year hiatus. I would rather that Utah not Play BYU. It becomes their bowl game and then they are done. You watch win or lose they will go on to have a very mediocre season in the PAC 12. They have already played in their bowl game.

I respectfully disagree with Meadowlark Mark. This rivalry is wonderful and agonizing and brings out the worst in a few fans, but for the most part---it is a riot (the good kind, not the soccer kind)--and usually a gut wrenching classic. Try telling a Michigan or Ohio State fan how much more "heated" and crazy this game is and they will probably laugh at you and gently pat you on the back. Some fans are jerks! Forget about 'em! Some fans bring religion and intolerance into it--hint: they aren't football fans-they are in desperate need of venting anger or attaching miserable lives to something resembling a winner. If you let them ruin the experience for you--that's on you. But people who truly love to see these two teams square off are good football fans--and there are many of them, on both sides. And to the guys who have played on both sides of the lines? Thank you for 35 years of great memories!

@ Hey Baby:

FYI: Actually, she's very beautiful and she can cook better than anything that's ever come off the hill. And what she's cooking up for today will be absolutely delicious, but not so appetizing for her guest.

You know xert, I probably would have agreed with you before this morning, unfortunately after this morning I totally agree with Medowlark Mark. I have a BYU flag hanging in one of my windows, I am a BYU alumni, and I woke up this morning, look out the front door, and there is "Go Utes" spray painted onto my sidewalk. I believe these fans are few and do not represent the majority fan base, but it is extremely sad and disappointing how one fan vandalizing someone's property can ruin an enjoyment in this rivalry. I am now looking forward to a break in this rivalry so hopefully we won't get vandalized again, at least for a few years.

These turnovers are usually a la mode.

Because, well, Provo is famous for Ice cream socials.

Good Job Kyle helping out with the team up North. We know that the U shirt you're wearing can be taken on and off but in your heart is a BIG FAT Y!

In past years there was some uncertaintly as to which excuse byu fans would use after losing.

Now there is no uncertainly whatsoever.

Utah wins.

byu fans blame the hadley thing

4-0 SWEEP!

How embarrassing to be a byu fan!

I LOVE IT

BYU fans and players are ridiculous. How about the last play the tall skinny kid pulling the defender into him to try and draw a pass interference. Utah.....for in a row has owned BYU in this century and last.....look at the records.

Whitt has owned the home teacher.

How was your meal? I never liked the taste of crow. Hope you enjoy it!

So is Bronco upset that the job was first offered to Whittingham? Is being a terrible coach his way of getting revenge on the BYU football program?
