I for one hope they continue to play every year!! I am bummed that they're go to miss a couple of years. All I have to say is if you don't like the smack talk on broads DON'T READ IT.

I submit my plea to both athletic directors: Do not schedule another event between these two schools. Never! No event whatsoever!
Fans of both schools join in the swell!
I don't care who you think is at fault - but it has gone beyond the point of return for me and I hope for the majority of the fans of both sides!
I will have a hard time looking into the eyes of good friends, neighbors, church members etc. It might be the result of a few (maybe one) but reading the posts of those that share the same sentiment as those few (one) had led me to this point and I doubt I will ever retreat from this position.
Go your way, cougars. Go our way, Utes!

For as committed to enforcing the honor code on byu players as Utah is I find it more than a little self righteous and hypocritical that blechen somehow failed multiple drug tests before any suspension?

So what's the rule? Zero tolerance in drugs after total tolerance for three offenses?

So legal(albeit against honor code) drinking gets 5 games at byu.

Getting a DUI(illegal in case you didn't know) while driving wrong way gets a one game suspension at other local school.

I guess I should be surprised it wasn't a helmet sticker?

Tattling takes the cake in the self righteous holier than thou department. No hypocrisy there. Provo has never been so self righteous.

It's disappointing to see Deseret News reporting on gossip. Sports reporting should be about sports, not rumor mongering.

Big 12 Call Yet?

Four losses in a row!

Utah is the one and only national power in Utah.

And USU did what to U last year?

Utes are nothing as will be proven again as they make their third hopeless attempt for PAC10.2 respect.

My gosh, what does it take to prove to the delusional masses that the Utes are lower tier in their conference?

Let's look at PAC conference accomplishment...

2011 4-5, lost to Colorado in a humiliating defeat in RES
2012 3-6, seeing a downward trend, no bowl game, home for the holidays
2013 season opens with humiliating loss to the OSU Beavers, who lost to EW

And my predictions...

UCLA will lose
Stanford will lose
AZ maybe a win
USC will lose
ASU will lose
Oregon will lose
WSU maybe a win
Colorado maybe a win

Out of the three maybes Utes will lose one of them, maybe two and that will result in another extended vacation in December.

Utes are nothing in their conference and trending the same in the state. After today that will be confirmed.

Go Aggies! Go Cougars!

Who am I sir?

Another panic-stricken Utah fan suddenly realizing the magnitude of the beat down BYU is laying on the Utes this year.

My proposal.

A 7 year ban on all athletic events between the U and the Y.
Buy out the three football games scheduled in this period. All other scheduled events just cancel them and reschedule other opponents.

Advantages:
1) Current athletes could play 4 years, red shirt 1 and go on a mission for 2 years, if desired. In 7 years if competition is rescheduled the athletes at that time would be free from the visceral emotions that exist currently.
2) During that time the athletes, coaches, administrations and especially the fans could realize it is a privilege to play an opponent - not a right.
3) If any of the allegations prove to be valid and true then in 7 year any sanctions by the NCAA would have long expired.
4) After 7 years, if any athletic events are scheduled the president would have been established that the privilege to play any opponent could and would again be revoked if the animosity reached the current nadir ie. wishing cancer on anyone!
