Expect a loss for the aggies at USC. No matter what they say it's just not
a game the aggies can win.
@Stang:Not sure you can say that, considering they gave the Utes all
they could handle, and dominated Air Force, then worked Weber State just like we
did.If anything, SC needs to continue their good play, or Chuckie
will light them up. I do root for all PAC-12 teams when they're not
playing the Utes, but even I will be rooting for the Aggs when they go to the
Coliseum! Go Chuckie!Go Utes!
I do expect a loss, but disagree...the Aggies can win this game. But it
won't be easy. By Stang0's thinking, no point in playing the game at
all. However Stango's track record for predicting Aggie defeats is abysmal
so hopefully he will bless the Ag's with good Karma this Saturday.
It will be a really hard-fought game. If the USC squad that showed up against
Wazzou plays us, we win. If the USC squad that showed up against Boston College
plays us, we lose. And just once I wish SUU's only fan would
say something original. Just once. It would actually be interesting for a
Aggies are due for a big marquee win. Vegas has the Aggies as a 6.5 point
underdog. I expect a close game, but if it becomes one sided it will be the
Aggies pulling away.
So let me get this straight, moderators. Chris B gets to be condescending and
unctuous but if I call him out on that behavior with sarcasm - MY comment gets
rejected for being disruptive? How are his comments not disruptive? As for the Aggies...We can win this one. I'm pulling for
you, boys. Let's get it done.
I'll wake you up when I'm offended. It's more annoying
than offensive, Chris B. I think the Utes and Ute fans have every reason in the
world to be proud of the accomplishments of their football team and their
university as a whole. But you do them a disservice with the way you come off
on here and the worst part is that it's entirely intentional.Your posts are condescending and it appears you quite enjoy the attention we
give you. If comment sections were like rooms at a party, and you said the
things you said, you would either never be taken seriously and ignored until you
left on your own, or people would encourage you to seek help for being so
anti-social. No one likes the guy you're trying to portray.I'm frustrated that articles about USU get turned into a platform for you
to camp on and take the opportunity to potshot USU. It's hypocritical and
I (foolishly, perhaps) expect better out of people.
I don't see whats wrong with simply stating we are a member of the
prestigious Pac 12, having EARNED that invitation through multiple recent
undefeated seasons, multiple BCS bowls, multiple BCS wins, multiple top 10
finishes. USC likewise is a member of the Prestigious Pac 12
Conference. I support our fellow Pac 12 brethren more than I support usu. USU is a fun little regional program and I'm glad they're in
the community, but they aren't at Utah's level. I'm going to
support first and foremost my team, then my conference brothers.
ChristoperBThe different hats you wear... it's odd. Stick
with one account for the sake of simplicity, please.I've
already spelled it out. You're not getting it because you don't want
to get it. Your comments and especially the constant qualifiers in your
references to Utah and Utah State's football programs... They're
jabs. They're little swipes intended to draw an emotional reaction. You
play on people's sensitivities and it's just plain wrong and immature.
You emphatically state that Utah "EARNED" (all caps, too!)
their way into the PAC-12, but you'll note that I already said as much. The problem isn't Utah's strengths in academics and football.
I'm jealous of Utah's accomplishments there - I would love it if USU
were in the PAC-12. The problem is the constant dismissal and denigration of
USU. It's you, not the University of Utah that folks have a problem
with.I'll repeat myself, and then I'm done: No one likes
the guy you're trying to portray.
@Samuri JackI just did.@tinplaterNo one
knows what's gonna happen. The aggies may suprise everyone but I seriously
doubt it. I'm thinking realistically. I don't live in a dream like
@SamboneI'm unoriginal? Are you kidding me? And in case you
missed it the other thousand times I've said it I'll enlighten you
again. I'm not the only fan. Come to one of our games and you'll
eventually figure it out. Keep draming Go Big Blue. I just love how the aggies
live in a dream world. @MarsTalk about offensive.
Let's get this straight. He can't play on peoples sensitivities but
you can? How exactly does that work? You've done more then he could ever
think of doing. Oh how do you make me laugh Mars my friend. Oh how do you make
StangRight back atcha, big fella. ;)
Man, Stango is a serious candidate for funniest person ever! Virtually every
post from him says practically the same thing: "I hate the Aggies."
Double YAWN. Repeating the same idea ad nauseam is remarkably unoriginal,
Stango. As far as I can tell, you are SUU's only fan. I've
seen just about none of them post a thing on the DesNews, the Trib, or the HJ
News... or any online news forum, actually. If there is more than one
SUU fan, I sure haven't met them. And I have MANY friends that attended SUU
just a couple of years ago. Not one of them talked T-bird athletics. And the Eccles Coliseum is a joke; it makes Romney Stadium look like
Clemson's Memorial Stadium. And he says we live in a dream
One thing you have to admit about Stang0, he persists with his out of the box
opinions despite a record of being incorrect over and over. For this season he
predicted Aggie failure because of new coach, new system, new players, and has
contended that Keeton is nothing special, not the best QB in the state. My
favorite of his was when he predicted that SUU would give the Aggies all they
could handle last year! His best QB was Sorenson or Max Hall (can't really
figure out what he was claiming in that regard). But I love his comments, they
bring a smile on a dull day.
@SamboneCome to Eccles and I'll prove you wrong.@tinplaterThis year in the present day at this moment in time you
have done nothing to prove me wrong. it was/is Sorenson. I thought they would
and I was wrong. Let's see how much of a "fight" you put up
against USC. Let's just wait and see.
A year ago, I thought this game was unwinnable for usu. Now it seems like they
can win. USC is in shambles. Bad part for USC is their strength is their
defense....one of the best in the nation. USU always does awful offensively on
the road vs. any team with a decent defense. Only put up 3 vs BYU, and about 12
at Wisconsin. With supposed better talent at USC, it would take an A game for
USU to win. I almost picked usu, but have to go with the home team and
usu's bad record of never breaking through. If usu wins, this team will be
for real and I'll consider Wells a better coach than Anderson. However, I look for USU to fight the first half, and be tired and lose it at
the end. Just like at Utah and every other big place they play at. The team
doesn't know how to finish a big game.
Striker, good points and I agree, except that USU did finish big games last year
against Utah and La Tech in OT. But I think a USC win is likely, simply because
their team is loaded with four and five star athletes, we are lucky to get twos.
Or you can keep talking because that's what you do best tinplater.
That's why you have never played a down in your life. Let's see how
long it take you to fire back with a low comment. I agree with Striker
completly. Well said man well said. And tiplater and I finally agree on
something. USU has no chance of winning.
