I would have to agree with Wells. Look at Heiden Weichers. Originally signed with BYU and then changed to USU. It was a fairly savvy choice for a wide receiver to go to a program with one of the best QB's in the nation as opposed to one with a recent history of QB failures.

Ha ha ha. At least it gave him a good excuse to lose by 32 points on Saturday. Well played Sorenson.

Interesting insights. I have loved watching the turn around at Utah State. Wells looks to be up tot he task of keeping it going in the right direction. Looking forward to being able to see my Aggies play on ABC Saturday. Go Big Blue!!!

Thank you, Ron McBride.

When Gary Andersen took over at USU, you counseled him - wisely, I might add - to follow this formula for building a roster:

1. Utah kids
2. Accommodate missionaries
3. Polynesians
4. Talent wherever you can find it.

GA not only did that, but then made sure to recruit such that there was competition for each position.

Now we are enjoying the fruits of this philosophy. My hat is off to you, kind sir. (And Matt Wells, you're not so bad yourself.)
