This article helped remind me of a conversation I had years ago with a friend of mine. At that time I was single and in college and was complaining to him how hard my life was. He gave me a response that I will never forget: "When you see others, do you see Christ in them?" Or, do I see them the way Christ see them? It's been a constant reminder to me that although everyone (myself included) have personal flaws, whatever they may be, our potential is eternal in nature. Jesus Christ is the great mediator and no matter our flaws, we can come to him to help us reach that eternal potential. He is "no respector of persons" meaning it doesn't matter what our flaws are, it matters that we make efforts to overcome those flaws and live a better life, through the help of Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the article - I needed that reminder.
