The saddest part of nursing education was removing it from the hospitals and
giving it to colleges. With minimal time caring for patients graduating nurses
lack experience and the confidence to perform even rudimentary tasks. Now the
push is on to require nurses to get a 4 year degree. As if another year of
science and liberal arts will help you better care for patients.
