Wilson is the real deal. I'll give you that. So are Mannion and Cooks.
Don't count the Utes out. I'll give you that.
Oregon State's double pass was more bold and more impressive than Whittingham's onside kick against USU.

PAC-12 officiating is a joke (both directions. At least their consistently bad???)
"Utah wins easy" Chrissy
While I know she'll still have laughable things to say this week, at least the broken record of "We're going to be 4-0 and ranked in the top 5 and penciled in for the Rose Bowl or the NC after next week" etc. will change as reality begins to set in again this year.
Hopefully after next Saturday the Utes will be back at .500, still 1 win above where they should be after the first 4

But seriously folks!

Life is good. An average OSU team came into SLC and laid the smack on the utes. Wilson IS not the QB he is said to be. He may have looked good against Weber, a Div. 2 school and he was only average against USU. OSU's defense is terrible as they proved last week against eastern Washington. When Wilson meets a stout defense, like BYU, he will wilt under the pressure.
I believe Utah is in for along day in Provo next week.

I'm just glad the Utes don't have to play Eastern Washington!

Huge downer, but what a game tonight!

Where was Erickson and Wilson the last four years (figuratively speaking)? Timing in football as in life can be everything. Utah's traditionally sound defense is now struggling, while the four year slumber of an offense has woke up and been putting up huge numbers so far this year. Having both sides of the ball solid in the same year is what it takes to win.

Utah graduated most the starters on defense and they are trying to figure out how to stop teams on the fly with inexperience. It's great to see the offense score but you can't win giving up 50 points.

Then you have BYU experience the opposite. They are used to having an offense that produces, only to see a legendary defense 'rise up' out of nowhere over the last two years and still lose games like at Boise State 7-6. How funny. Utah, on the other hand loses 51-48. It's insane.

Mannion made some great plays... maybe next time the Utes will get them. Great game!

I wish Taysom Hill had Mannion's accuracy!
