Fame and fortune can be a two edged sword. It can be a blessing or a curse depending on how one deals with it. So far, it seems Ziggy's handling things quite nicely and hope he'll continue to stay true to his faith and the values that made him the special young man that he is. It's too bad his real family seems to be harboring ill feelings because he's joined the LDS Church and suspicious of the Opare family's motive in trying to help him.

This seems like prying, exploiting even. Give it a rest, and give these people some privacy and peace. Athletes owe us performance (that's what they get paid for and what we pay for) they don't owe us their private lives.

Steve Young is one of the greatest athletes to come out of Utah that has been true to himself and never let fame change who he is. I hope the same is for Ziggy, not just his religion but his character. A wonderful example that kids can look up to. I enjoyed the articles on his life and it gave us a better insight to who he is.
