If we give religion too much rope, it's going to hog tie all of us in a web of nonsense.


Hutterite, one might say the same thing about civil liberties. There needs to be balance. Civil liberties have been winning for a very long time and don't think the United States is in any danger of religion hog tying anyone in a web of nonsense - which statement devalues others' rights to have religious beliefs different from oneself.

This is why the founding fathers wanted government to stay out of religion.

Let private businesses and agencies and so forth do as they will in regards to religion.

That is true freedom and none of the governments business.
