Just because I am curious have you, personally ever received any healthcare in
another country? A lovely woman I know went to another country and while
walking on the cobble stone streets slipped and fell breaking her arm. They put
a plaster cast on her. When was the last time you have seen any one in the US
get a plaster cast?Even our dogs get mesh casts!Have you
seen the films of China's hospitals? Have you learned what is done
with the elderly, those deemed terminal and those who are in vegetative
states?Norway has death doctors and governmental over sight organisations
that determine care. Most of Europe does. Ever wonder why there is never a
story about some person in Europe that woke up from a coma after several years?
Yep, socialist countries have awesome healthcare...Not!
The richest people in the United States travel to "Socialist" countries
to get their treatments.Yep - They aren't stupid, they know
it's the best Healthcare money can buy.
UtahBlueDevil, in the countries you have visited their healthcare laws are
clear. We are not inept, most governmental workers that are
supposed to help us with this 2,700 page law don't even understand it. Our government, our political leaders sold us out, they let the major
insurance companies of this nation write up a bill that provides these companies
with a direct way to force the working American people to pay for healthcare
insurance for every person that lives in this nation citizen or not, working or
not.Since most of our national debt is owned by these insurance
conglomerations it does not surprise me that they would be back door lobbying
for a way to dig deeper into our pockets. That is exactly what this
law is a tax to benefit massive insurance conglomerations.
Our problems with government healthcare is 40-50 million Americans will need
taxpayer funded healthcare insurance. That's more people than the entire
populations of any of the "socialist" countries you named! Too many
people taking out, too few people putting in or if we do put in, the costs will
be very painful for the middle class because the unions, big business are all
getting wavers you see! And the younger people will elect to NOT pay in until
they get sick and since they can't be excluded for pre-existing conditions,
they will get healthcare without paying in to the system. Add it all up and it
spells a train wreck!
You know, for my job I travel through out the world - from the middle east, to
the most "socialist" countries like Norway..... and amazingly they all
have vibrant communities of small business. I get the fear of the unknown, but,
it amazes me that American small business owners figure themselves to be so
inept that they can't do what their neighbors to the north can do.
