Well-written, great article. Thank you Amy. The history of the event was interesting. Thanks to the early Wasatch 100 organizers and participants for not giving up on the concept.

Utah's Wasatch 100 is one of the world's most challenging events because of the 26,000 ft of vertical. Many involved in the race feel that the first 75 miles are just the warm-up, and your true character is what you do in the last 25 miles. For those that survive, there are few things in life that match the feeling of accomplishment you get when you finish. Congrats to all of the finishers of this years race! A truly amazing feat.
