@ RedUtes08:

Just as you are red thru and thru, I'm blue thru and thru. I must admit that you do show some class, and it's much appreciated.

There are some hard-core fans (i.e., Chris B) on each side of the red/blue rivalry that go beyond being objective, and which start making it hard to like "the other side". Then occasionally, I read a well thought-out comment like yours coming from that side that helps me to remember that civility in the rivalry is still possible.

Thanks for doing your part.

So how "challenging" do oregon state and usc look now? Weren't those 2 of the 5 "ranked" teams utah "fans" were bragging/whining about playing?

Talk to me again at season's end when Texas is 6-6 and far from the ranks.

LOL

It's laughable that you left these little items out of your analysis:

SOS

BYU #32 (versus two power conference, FBS teams)
Utah #138 (versus a mid-major and an FCS team)

It's laughable that you consider Virginia a team.

Utah State is better than both Virginia and Texas combined, you'll find out soon enough.

Spokane Utsie,
You are totally wrong. I don't have a total hatred for Utah like BYU does for all things BYU. I use to be a huge Utah fan and even worked there for many years. is wasn't until I started to read these threads that I truly took a dislike to all things Utah. Blame it on your own fans.

DeepBlue,

Just remember, however "bad" we are, you're WORSE, since byU is incapable of beating us

LOL

@uteology

That might be the weirdest and most off topic post in the history of the site. What was your point? Are you trying to say wsu has a great defense? They've played 2 games and usc is so obviously bad that utah may have held them to one score also. wsu had not allowed less than 19 points in a game in several years, that means they have had an absolutely horrible defense for all those years. Maybe they might be good this year, maybe, but it is to early to know.

Go back to making sense because you failed miserably here.

@tomahawk pink

What does that have to do with anything? utah played weber state. Are you going to get back to me at the end of the season when weber is a 1 win team from the 1aa ranks? Did you post just because you felt like you had to say something, anything, even if it didn't make a lick of sense?

Tators,
I could not agree more. Chris B is the ONLY reason I now hate Utah. I used to be an ardent fan but no longer.
@Spokane Utsie, I am glad that the ute nation will be fine without me....and BYU will be just fine without you.

But seriously folks!

Truth hurts.
I wonder when the Utah fans will realize that they are not as relevant as they think. I guess you can throw fact at them all day long and they still don't see it.

@ Chris B:

You keep making the same silly little statements an several different articles about BYU being incapable of beating Utah. In just 12 more days, you will find out just how totally untrue that really is.

Hasn't anyone explained to you how juvenile it is to end all your comments with a "LOL"?
People are already "laughing out loud". But it's at what you say and how you say it, rather than the other way around.

I would like to respond and continue our conversation, but the editor won't allow it for what ever the reason? Have a good evening.

"Utah doesn't have the luxury of scheduling a bye before the rivalry game"

Actually Utah's bye is between USC and Arizona State but they probably could have scheduled it whenever they wanted to. As for the extra week, seldom have I ween it help the Cougars to have an extra week. Would rather have had them play you this week. We will see how Utah reacts after their loss to Oregon State!

"BYU...will win...probably 9 games."

Get back to me on both of those in a couple months, ok? Cheers, and good luck with "BYE" this weekend, I sincerely hope neither team loses any more pieces for the match!

It is a good day to be a Cougar. Hope you feel the same about your win over Weber this week.

9 SEC teams, 8 PAC-12 teams, 9 BIG teams, 7 ACC teams, and 6 Big-12 teams have SOS in the 100's right now. See, how it works in college football is that teams from the big 5 conferences play most of their non-conference games against mid-majors and FCS teams to warm up and get ready for the grind of their conf. schedule. Get back to us in a month and see how the SOS looks then....
