Great win for the Utes! Just remember you have a big and first conference game
to take care of before you get my Cougs!!! Good luck next week against the
beavers, they will not roll over and play dead like the wildcats!!! See you on
the 21st!!! After BYU's upset of a ranked team it should make the outcome
less sure for the Utes especially since it is in Provo!!!
Agree. This article was absolutely clueless. Just pass the ball 70 times a
game. How do you think that plan will work in the PAC12? This was a real game,
not a fantasy game.
I would have thought it impossible to conclude the Ute's struggled when
rushing the football since their totals, averages and every measurable showed
Kelvin York really didn't have much of an opportunity to prove himself. He
rushed 4 times and broke 1 of the 4 for a 20something yd TD.And the
"bad," Weber States game plan? What exactly was their game plan? What
evidence did you see that told you they tried to outwit Utah? Or overpower
physically? Do you think it was Weber's game plan to let Utah go up 56-0
before they chose to score a TD? Makes no sense. You could have touched on how
stupid it is to run a hurry up and make your 3 and outs really quick...Very strange and seemingly un-proofread article. More poor coverage of the
Utes by the DesNews.
UteMiguel, spot on. Clueless article. I trust guys that have played and coached
major football for 30+ years more than someone who says "Hey, this play
worked, you should just do that every time!" Stop playing Madden on Easy and
learn real football.
You don't seem to understand that you have to commit to running the ball to
keep the passing game open. If they just give up in the run and pass all the
time, then pass opportunities will not be as open.
"The hot afternoon at Rice Eccles Stadium wasn't even a contest. Utah
proved once again to another in state team they are deserving of their PAC-12
affiliation."What a dumb opening paragraph. THEY PLAYED
WEBER!!! Tell me the Utes are deserving after doing some PAC 12 damage, not
beating a bogus squad from Weber.
