Its a travesty that we live in a country where mere kids are sold into the sex trade.

The fact that Homeland Security was involved in this is nauseating...

@FrankSegesman, why is it nauseating that Homeland Security is involved? Your comment is confusing to me. Please explain what I'm missing.
Seems the nauseating part is that our children are being sold and more nauseating, is that there are customers available to buy them.

What is nauseating is the Deseret News continuing to wallow in stories related to sex. Again, using a provocative photo of a young woman who was not involved in any manner with this story of sex, the Deseret News demonstrates their unusual interest in any story that is related to sex. Claiming to represent the LDS Church, I simply ask why did they select a photo that is totally unrelated to this event? The editorial board needs to evaluate why a church news paper continues to wallow in this area of "news."

I do not see what the problem is. Most of us have no interest in getting into the middle of a consenting relatioship between adults. The article reminds us that many prostitution situations are not eeally about consenting relationships. Women are coerced into the trade or engage becaue they see no alternative. Maybe the solutions are to 1) go after johns more to decrease demand and 2) provide counseling for prostitutes to help those who do noy want to be there. For tariffickers and johns going after underages kids - very long stays at point of yhe mountain. I hope they can get to this young women and help her get out of thos nasty business.

I seem to recall the Saviour making a recommendation about punishment for those who harm children.

So... is Miley Cyrus not a victim of the "Sex Trade"? So should we not be "Pulling her out"??? Instead we just watch and paying her (or her handlers).
