Cutting 81 jobs means most of them are drivers can't be a good sign to claim any economic growth or development. This is one small Utah company and we have 50 other states with the same economic decline so as a nation this can only mean there are fewer goods and services and industrial plants in operation. Declining need in transportation means that the economy is still in a downward spiral.

Sure, it helps pollution in the valley but drivers are some of the best paid workers who can['t qualify of welfare and do more to subsidize the 47%+ governemnt dependents and 100% of workers wanting work but forced into government dependence. In 10 years its multimillion dollar loss to the economy. But that's okay too, the state can bond the rest of the workers with another $100 million dollar bond to fund governemnt and its opulent medical industry funded by taxes.

Which will add another problems for Utah when tens of thousands with insurance cancel it and stop going to doctors to get medical care and prescriptions. Cancellation in medicare insurance will be enormous.

Dear My2Cents. I certainly do not know what story you read that the majority will be truck drivers. Here is an exact quote from the article; England said. "Unfortunately, we found that the size of our non-driver workforce must be adjusted to be consistent with the amount of freight we are able to haul in this environment." Sounds like they majority are not drivers.

As is often the case, your comment has more to do with your agenda than with the story you are supposedly commenting on. Did you read that this reduction was largely "non drivers"?

p.s. In a healthy, market-based economy, these kinds of adjustments are common, necessary and beneficial. It helps to allocate resources to where they are needed most. It sounds like C.R. England is not that place at the moment.

Obama gets more on the government dole, at least he will be happy.
