This is a yawner. The 'boycott' will not, nor has it ever, kept tribal and part-tribal members from shopping and eating in Roosevelt.

Tribal and non-tribal members mix well in the Basin. Go to the local softball leagues, and other sports leagues, to see for yourself.

These six tribal Council members, who are often elected by the thinnest of margins and are always subject to recall votes, are VERY sensitive to alleged wrongs against and complaints from tribal members. Especially those complaints from their own band. (Tribal council has 2 representatives from each of the three bands that comprise the reservation.)

But in this case, they may be a tad toooo sensitive.... Hope the Council and local elected officials can find more common ground.
