I am sorry I missed this game. It was not on ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3 or even the Ocho. I wonder why, given the Utes status in the PAC 12. I figured every game they play would be on TV.

Maybe the Big Colorado - Utah game at the end of the season will make it onto the tube.

Oh well. I'll just have to watch BYU v Virginia tomorrow.

Joe, sorry you didn't actually look because the game was on TV, as every Utes game will be.

I meant any place other than Salt Lake or pay per view.

BYU Joe. Sarcasm is more effective when it has a basis in fact. As you surely know, the game was on national TV on the new FOx Sports 1.

Fox Sports 1 is a national station. Nice try though. That's great that you have ESPN to watch but too bad your team can't win games that are nationally televised. I believe the Utah, Boise State, Notre Dame, San Jose State, and Oregon State were all national televised games last year and what do you know, you went 0-5 in them. But thanks for playing Utah the past 2 years on ESPN and letting us beat you on national television using your contract with ESPN. We appreciate the favor of letting us expose you the past 2 years in front of the nation.

One thing became evident. These two teams were nearly equally matched. USU had more yardage, but the Utes prevailed on special teams play. Neither team was dominant over the other, and neither one "owns" the other as some over zealous fans like to claim. It was an entertaining back and forth game to watch.

Joe has resorted to bad mouth the TV deal because well that's really all he can say. Being owned on ESPN I guess trumps just being on national TV. Like previous posters have said, the cougars have been owned on national tv for the most part. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night. Have fun watching your beloved coughs in crystal clear SD today.

LOL that misguided snarkiness gets funnier every time it gets exposed. I for one had a great time watching the game from the Midwest United States, 1300 miles from Utah.

Let it go Joe.

The focus now is about getting better and game two with the Weber State Wildcats.

Then, there is game three against the Oregon State Beavers.

Come back on Monday, the week of September 16th and we can discuss game 4.

When do you guys think the Des News is finally going to report Utah's new basketball recruit?

BYU Joe

Ok. You're right. Utah does get as much exposure on TV as BYU. My error.

reason, Kuzma sounds like a good player and should complement Loveridge and Chapman as a pretty potent frontcourt. Offers from UConn, Mizzou, Florida State, Minnesota, Memphis, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Iowa State and Arizona State, among others? Glad to have him!

StG, thank you. I've also heard Michigan State was one of those other schools that offered him, and that he's a top 150 player. Nicely done coach K.

Fox Sports 1 is a new nationwide sports channel...

"Fox 1 is a new nationwide sports channel."

Yeah, but I don't think he can get it with the coat hanger and aluminum foil as an antenna.

Hey Joe, FS1 is available on more TVs than ESPNU where BYU is playing...

Let's see here, everyone in Utah on Thursday could watch the Utah-USU game but no one could watch the 2nd half of the BYU-Va game. Fox Sports 1 > ESPNU

A win is a win, this was a good win for da utes

GO UTAH!
