"Best in State" is looking just fine for the Utes! For all the Aggs that said, mark it down, hope you marked it down using a #2 pencil with a big fat eraser! I, on the other hand, marked it down with a permanent red Sharpie! lol GO UTES

I can multitask. South Alabama is gonna be a good game. Utah will beat USU and prove last years loss was the biggest joke in Utah history.

    "Get your own tots!" :-)

Fact is, Utes Nation will be proud to own the Aggies for all time - power conference affiliation aside. You can't deny the fact that you have nothing but last season to chirp about, and even then the strongest team in Aggies history came nowhere close to blowing the Utes out of the water! In fact, your strongest team in Agg's history needed overtime. Against one of the worst offenses in Utes history. So while we focus on getting stronger to overcome teams such as Stanford, Oregon, SC, UCLA, Oregon State, ASU, etc.! You can continue faking excitement over games against Air Force, San Jose St., New Mexico, Hawaii, UNLV, Colorado St., and Wyoming! Bah ha ha

Admit that while my Utes have evolved, your Aggs are just beginning the journey. Best of luck with your "who gives an Aggie cow pie" season! Go Utes!

    @ Samurai Jake:

You are totally right about the Utes needing to prove themselves worthy of their "elite conference membership".
The sad part of that story is that they've now been in that conference 3 years and still have not proven themselves worthy in any way whatsoever!
It's been an ongoing struggle each year to not finish in the bottom of the cellar.
And that's the truth of the matter.
In fact, they were one of the few teams in their conference to finish with a losing conference and overall record last year.
It makes it hard not to smile when reading how a few die-hard trolls continue to write about how proud they are of their conference membership. But nothing else to go along with it.
2 of their 5 home wins since 2010 have been against Big Sky Conference opponents.

All in all, it makes it extremely hard to understand how and why Chris B (ChristopherB), AZUTE1 and Naval Vet find their (or any) Ute arrogance and make their outlandish predictions to go along with it.

They will soon be sweeping all of their little "LOL's" off the floor again this year.

    @ Chris B:

As has happened so many times in the past... even after "marking it down", your unbridled and unwarranted enthusiasm for the Utes often proves to be unjustified... just like when these same 2 teams played last year. I marked down your prediction then, and it proved to be way off... once again.
I've also marked down your prediction this time and can hardly wait to read your comment tomorrow, about why it didn't come about... once again! (referees, too much sun, bad karma, etc.)

So if the Aggies beat the Utes tonight, do we have your word that you won't post on any USU sports articles for a year... similar to the commitment U made about the Cougars beating the Utes this year? Should that happen, you will seriously need to find a new hobby... perhaps needlepoint or badminton... something more in line with your prediction accuracy record.

RES will be rockin' tonight! Aggies will be looking to prove their win from a year ago wasn't just a fluke, and that they can consistently hang with the big boys. Utes will be looking to prove they are worthy of their elite conference membership and to start with a W in the home opener. Game time can't get here soon enough! Go Utes!

I'm so happy football season is finally here.

I'm looking forward to a great game. I hope the Utes can pull off a win but this game does make me nervous. The Aggies are a good team with a great QB. I hope the Utes defense can contain Chucky but it will be a tough test.

As for the Utes, I hope Travis Wilson can have a good game and get the ball to multiple receivers and the tightends for som big plays. I'm also hoping that our improved O-line can protect the QB and open up some holes. It would be so nice to see our QB stay healthy all season!

    Go Utes!

    re: MJB

Agreed. Although, personally I don't care who wins the Utah - BYU game. Would love the see All three in state teams blow the nation away this year. Having all three ranked at the end of the year would be spectacular.

    Utes by 5!

Time to silence all the haters! And no I don't mean State fans, they have the bragging rights until kick off, then the its decided by the players on the field.

Good luck Aggies, we are brothers.
    Go Utes!

I agree. Neither offense will probably be clicking on all cylinders. Whoever can improvise best most likely wins and Keaton scares me a little in that department. But, go Utes!!!

    Chris B,
Wow, what an arrogance and self-righteous attitude toward USU! I hope they take the Utes out to the wood shed and give your team the beating they deserve!!! If USU should happen to have a big lead in the fourth quarter I hope they do an on-side kick so that the Utes get a taste of their own medicine!!! So glad the season is finally here!!!

    Go Cougs!!!
Go Utes except tonight and Sept. 21st.
Go Aggies embarrass the Utes in RES!!!

After so many losing seasons, it was good to see Utah State put together a good team. The Aggies also have a lot to prove: that they can win with a new coach at the helm. Best wishes to the Aggies.

Utah has much more riding on the line than the Aggies so I think they're anxious to prove they're top dog in the state and every bit worthy of the their Pac 12 invite! Tonight is their chance to prove last year's loss to the Aggies was a fluke. If they loose, well ummm, it may be very hard for them to continue with demoralized egos through the rest of their schedule. So whether they admit or not, tonight's game is huge for their confidence and their season. I wish both teams good luck for tonight's contest.

    May the better team win!

    Go Cougars!
