I see no mention of any type of peer review. It may be prudent to see some
validation before betting the house on this ONE study. It does make for a nice
hot button headline though.
Actually your view are in line with the Nazis and Adolf Hitler. In
Nazi Germany, the penalties for abortion were increased again. In 1943,
providing an abortion to an "Aryan" woman became a capital offense. Conservatives don't understand who they actually align with
historically, do they.
By these same conclusions, Apes and other animals know and recognize sign
language and can construct sentences, do they have a spirit too?
Say No to BO said:"When the spirit enters the body is irrelevant. The
fact is that God intended to send a spirit to earth and man interfered."So when someone is technically dead, and then revived, A man interfered
with God's intention to bring him home?and yet that same God brings
No-one to earth without man's interference.
Yes, we kill hundreds of thousands in Iraq to get oil and secure contracts for
Cheney's associates, but we think we are above killing babies that do not
yet have viable life.
re:atl134Actually we don't care about "reducing
abortions". We care only about STOPPING abortions. In 1940 we our
declaration of war on Adolf Hitler and Germany was not to just reduce the Jewish
deaths to a more manageable number - it was to STOP all the war crimes and
crimes against humanity. Murder is murder whether it comes by way of a Nazi gas
chamber or an abortion doctors knife. Liberals hypocrisy would save a whale but
snuff the life of a beautiful child and all in the name of convenience and PC.
Disgusting but predictable.
If you all cared about reducing abortions you'd pursue tactics proven to
work across the world. Instead you call women the s word in discussions about
Yes they hear and remember and then they are put to death by the Abortion
doctor. And we claim to be a civilized society in America.
@LDS LiberalOK, I'll bite. What about 22 weeks? or 25 weeks?Or maybe one particular savant fetus responds at 19 weeks?I recall Elder
Faust talking about abortion in the 70s. He quoted a source who said something
like this: When the spirit enters the body is irrelevant. The fact is that God
intended to send a spirit to earth and man interfered. That's all we
need to know about elective abortion.
@samhillSalt Lake City, UTNice straw man argument.29 weeks [late term] abortions are already banned and illegal.
And yet, there are people who wonder if we're even **human**, much less
**alive** before we're born.My guess is that as more and more
is learned by more and more about what we're like before we're born,
there will be fewer and fewer who can lie to themselves about the barbarity of
abortion.Of course, there are millions who've proved themselves
callous to the point of psychopathology, so I'm sure there will always be
the hold outs. But my belief has always been that most people have consciences
and therefore will recoil at the thought of killing someone for simply being
unwanted. But, there is a lot of disinformation and dishonesty in the popular
media and academia that will need to be overcome for justice to prevail. Over
time, just as with slavery, that will happen with abortion.
