Vietnam veterans were not treated kindly before, during or after their obligation and duties were over, whether these veterans volunteered or were drafted.

It is good to see that the KSL/Deseret News hasn't forgotten those men and women that served for those of us who were also there.

I was in the Army in German 1960 - 1962 was suppose to go to Nam but was kept in Germany; the East Germans had The-Wall built - we thought that WWW-3 was starting at that time. I had lots of friends go to Nam & come back in bags - it sounds like this good brother could have been one of them but for the Grace-of-God ... HORA..!!
