History will tell you this will wake up the MC Mustangs. But I also know that this may be a long season. Hope the Mustangs know they need to wake up.

Good to see MC lose this one. Cant seem to win away from the cache valley. Good job Highland...Let's get it tonight CATS!!

Disappointed that the Rams don't have their signature ram horns. Do they add them later based on performance; you know, earn them? Or are the horns out? I hope not! Why be the Rams unless it is to have the best helmets in the state?

@Fanster They have to earn them, usually takes 3-6 games.

@just sayin,
MC has won plenty of games away from Cache Valley...although it is a trend for most schools up there...including the college up there to want to play most of their games at home...just look at USU and their bball program...they can't win away from the spectrum. MC has a sophomore QB and you could tell he hadn't played varisty before. Depending on how quick he learns along with the rest of the team could be a long and unusual year for Coach Wooten and the Mustangs. Box Elder will win Region 5 with Roy and Logan following behind and SkyView and MC will be fighting for the last playoff spot from that region.

That's about the worst I remember seeing Mountain Crest. Those first couple interceptions were completely errant passes. Hopefully Mtn. Crest improves quickly or this will be a long season.

Why show the Mustangs disrespect like that? It's a new team that clearly was effected by last years senior class graduating. They will bounce back. I know Coach Wootton and he will make sure they stay positive.

Didn't Mountain Crest make the state championship game last year and the year before that go to the semi-finals. They win plenty outside of Cache Valley. This team may not be as good as teams in the recent past but Mountain Crest and Coach Wooton have a great program. And who knows, in time they may get this good this season. And give Highland some credit, they look darn good.
