What an amazing lecture. This article hits the nail right on the head when we look at how satan is so actively destroying individuals, institutions. This speaker seemed to grasp how dangerous our lives are but given a battle plan we can succeed.

Like the Primary song our children sing: "Follow the prophet, he knows the way."

Like the children of Israel....God directed Moses on what to do and what to teach, and so by following Moses, the children of Israel were actually following God.

So it is today....follow God's current prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and by so doing, we will in fact be following God.

It's pretty danged simple, folks.

Yes, it really is.

What I don't get is why people accept Moses as a prophet (they say wholeheartedly, "Yes!, if I had been an Israelite slave in those days, I would have followed Moses!" but they freak out about following Pres. Monson today.

And....if there's any doubt (and the Lord understands when there is)....James 1: 5-6 kindly, patiently beckons to the honest in heart.

Like I said, it really is incredibly simple....

It doesn't matter how many times you hear the same message, said a different way, from a different perspective and from another point of view, that we need to hear and heed that message. Nothing is new here, yet it is sound ideas, proper doctrine and truthfulness that will be the answer for every problem. Every day we have to make a choice and make the right choice again and again.

It's that easy and it's that hard, all at the same time.
