Don't know why the insurance commission is making this report to the public knowing that none of these homes fire insurance polices do not cover acts of god fires and nobody is insured for personal or property losses in wildfires. That's why fire fighters take extra precautions to keep the fires away from homes and property but its a crap shoot risk every one has on their fire insurance policy's.

The same goes for all acts of god incidents including floods, backed up drains and sewer lines, earthquakes. To be insured for any of these acts of god will set homeowners back more in insurance cost than their homes are worth in their mortgage payments.

When the feds step in and pay the state funds for losses, those funds cannot by state law be used to help homeowners so the risk takers are those who are uninsured. Just walk away from the losses and loans if not covered, credit rating extortion is not worth rebuilding.
