It's hard to argue with the truth. Ghandi said it best, "I must be the
change I want to see in others." No amount of educational policy, reform,
or circumstance can replace the power of example. In the absence of example, it
still holds true. Timothy Clark! Way to go!
It's sad, but mostly what we're concerned with as our kids return to
school is high school football. I don't believe we have what it takes to
really create academic change in schools, so slow down in school zones and hope
for the best.
