If UTA came in 50 million dollars under budget, I propose that all top UTA
officials each receive a 1 million dollar bonus effective immediately.
Isn't that part of their contract?
Watching Fox 13 on this achievement right now. I wonder how it came in 2 years
ahead of schedule and approximately $50M under budget. Really? Who set the
schedule and the budget? Why was the schedule and budget so far off the mark?
Seems to me that all this continued public relations campaign is really a smoke
screen. Seems to me the this is an opportunity for some maleficence.I am not
saying there is, but I do wonder how UTA continues to come in months ahead of
schedule and always under budget.
"Foxx added that developing efficient transit will give more families the
opportunity to spend more quality time together rather than wasting time
commuting to and from work."This statement makes absolutely no
sense. UTA runs buses past my house and my workplace but it doubles my commute
time over driving. That kind of disconnect from reality is the hallmark of
publicly financed transit.
