My first exposure to PDF.While I appreciate what they are going for,
and believe that all these women (and even Gordy) would be fun to hang with, I
just watched the entire anthology, and there was not one knee slapper. It is a humorous mini series, and I can see its appeal. Those of you
commenting that it's not 'funny' don't really get it.
It's not supposed to be about roll-in-the-aisles comedy sketches.
It's an ensemble piece, and in this I think it succeeds, though mildly. While I can appreciate them having an enthusiastic and loyal Mormon
Mommy audience, it is not something I will tune into on a regular basis.Maybe if there were snippets of gigs where they WERE actually being
hilarious, it would give it more respectability.
Gotta love this - clever, funny, clean and a message that speaks to women of
all ages. I really enjoyed season 1 and can't wait to see more of season 2!
(I especially loved the "mom's cut loose" footloose parody -
don't miss it.)
I decided to watch one of last years episodes during lunch...really not very
funny...actually kind of dumb. Sorry.
