Before being elected, barack said he'd cut the deficit in half in his first term.

He didn't cut it by 50%

Or 40 %

Or 30%

Or 20%

Or 10%

Or 1%

He increased it.

Either barack lied or he doesn't have a clue about the economy.

Likely both

A correct statement, even if some people have a hard time remembering, which came first the chicken or the check?

There has never been a President of the United States that has escaped accountability like Barrack Obama. He constantly campaigns and tells the world he is fighting against the very effects and consequences of his agenda and the press never questions him, never challenges his record and the Republicans cave on everything and ironically gets called obstructionists even though they have not stopped Obama on anything. Obama changes one laws after another passed by congress on a whim and everyone just accepts it. Obama is a master of deception and smoke and mirrors politics like the world has never seen before or probably will again. How does he do it over and over again?

Ummmmmm, you could make a strong argument that George Bush and Dick Cheney should have been at least investigated for war crimes(especially Cheney). I would call that escaping scrutiny.
Second, where have the republicans given in? You act like they roll over for Obama, I can't think of where they've actually agreed with him. So give me some examples of Republicans rolling over, and not being obstructionists.

To "Noodlekaboodle" if Bush and Cheny should have been investigated for war crimes, why not Obama. He is continuing the same policies that Bush started.

Obama is nothing more than Bush on steroids. He does the same things that Bush did, but has made them bigger and cost more.

@ Noodle. Examples of Obama getting what he wanted with only token opposition from Republicans:
#1: Higher taxes on the "rich".
#2: Obamacare
#3: DOMA struck down.
#4: Welfare reform act scuttled unconstitutionally and food stamp recipients more than doubled since.
#5: NSA spying.
#6: No accountability for IRS, Benghazi, fast and furious and A.P. scandals all swept under the rug-thus no accountability.
#7: Trillion dollar taxpayer bailout of automaker unions
#8: "Shovel ready" stimulus package that mostly went to teachers unions and almost no construction, infrastructure jobs.
#9: Obama phones.
#10: Transferred $750 billion out of Medicare into Obamacare-grand larceny at it's best!
My question: How does he get away with these things? No investigation, no questions by the news media and no accountability, none, zero, zip, nada!

As far as the war on terror. You have a short memory of 9-11 and want to ignore Al Qaida whom are still attacking us even if Obama denies it! The movie that nobody saw caused Benghazi, according to Hillary. But "what difference does it make"?

@ Chris B

You clearly don't understand the difference between deficit and debt.
