I agree that cancer insurance isn't needed. It would be nice to have
health insurance, but since so many are like me, and work at a small firm that
doesn't offer a plan, health coverage is beyond reach. At 53, my family is
one accident away from being homeless.
One of the sad thinngs about health insurance, is that most policies today are
expecting us to pay a 20% copay. I need back surgery badly, but can't
afford the copay. I don't make a lot of money and pay what I can for
health insurance, but a better policy simply isn't offered by my employer.
