@Aggie238I'm getting tired of you following me so do yourself a
favor and just stop. We've had more pride since 2008 then ever did before
Lamb showed up. Current but only you've heard of them so how good can they
really be. Did you go to a 2A high school? That wouldn't fill up half our
stadium. And if your parent's are alum, why are you so negative? I just
don't get that.
Well, for starters, I knew that the aforementioned receivers are current FBS
players, something you clearly didn't, as evidenced by the quote I posted
from your comment. Not a closet fan, but my parents are alumni of SUU and I
have family in Cedar, so I know my way around a bit. I seriously think my high
school stadium fits as many or more people than SUU's mini-Coliseum (which
I will fully admit is a pretty cool looking venue, though tiny). Of course,
I've seen high school stadiums in Texas that look like they could give
Rice-Eccles a run for its money, but that's in real football country.
Okay show me your supirior knowledge please. You know nothing more than I. Yes
you are. And you just proved you are yet another closet fan. That last
sentence tells me you've been to a few SUU games here. Although you
probably haven't since you made such a dumb comment. If you have ever been
to an SUU game you would know that you are wrong. Since coach Lamb came to
T-Bird country the attendence has been incredible.
"They probably played before my time."Oh Stang, your
attempts to excuse or hide your obvious lack of general college football
knowledge (or the fact that you didn't read the article at all) are sadly
comical. These are CURRENT FBS players. Utah State will face them THIS year
(2013).Loud Loiterer, I'm pretty positive I've seen games
at Hurricane High that drew a larger crowd than what I've seen from SUU,
and I'm not exaggerating at all.
I did read it and they don't stand a chance against a PAC12 power like USC.
You are right U-State 1888 I've never heard of those players but not
because I follow FCS football. They probably played before my time. Again one
of them played for a power house PAC12 team. The entire conference for SUU is
full of top 10 FCS teams. Now while they wouldn't be good to you they are
in fact very good teams. Loud Loiterer, you couldn't be more wrong. All of
you need to get out of your tunnel vision and realize there is more to college
athletics then USU.
Don't forget that the MW has top talent in Davante Adams (Fresno St.), Noel
Grigsby (SJSU), Brandon Wimberly (Nevada), and Robert Herron (Wyoming). All of
these guys are candidates for the Biletnikoff Award (nation's best
receiver). Stang08 is only bummed that his T-birds are bottom-feeders of the Big
Sky... I'm pretty sure Alta Vs. Bingham draws a bigger crowd than SUU does.
@Stang08 Ever heard of Cody Hoffman (BYU) or Marqise Lee (USC)? Probably not
because you only follow FCS football. In case you didn't know, these are
two of the best receivers in college football and Lee IS the best in the nation
right now. Side note- who is SUU playing this year??
Right on Stang. Lawson shouldn't be excited to play against "WAC
2.0" teams like USC. That wouldn't make sense at all. Just a friendly
tip: read the article next time.
If he is excited to face some of the nations best receivers then he
shouldn't be excited to play in the WAC 2.0 they don't have the
nations best. Not even close.
I agree Ironmomo... he seems to always get a face-guarding call or two in every
game!I hope he has worked that out of his system!
Talented CB but sometimes he lets his emotions get the best of him with dumb
personal fouls. I hope he has a great year.Go Aggies!
