    This young man is to be commended for this selfless act. I hope it goes viral in all the world. It will serve to remind us why our country is great. America is great because America is GOOD.

    Kerr may not have considered himself a hero, just someone doing the right thing and being a friend for this boy during the race. Kerr was unselfish, and thought of the well-being of this young boy, and was willing to make sure the struggling youth was not left alone. Although he came in slower than his group, his potential humiliation was saved--he ran with a Marine! To the boy, who will probably remember this the rest of his life, Kerr is a hero.
