Check out Utah State getting some love. Looking forward to BYU football. It's nice to get some respect for receiving 20 votes but it means nothing if you don't win. Go Cougars!!

Nice to see a little respect coming BYU's way (and to the Aggie's too). I'm a little nervous about playing so many quality teams (#11, 15, 19, 23, 35) but it'll be a great year to see how we stack up with the big boys. Only a few more weeks--can't wait! Go Cougs!

If the prognosticators are remotely close, the Utah teams will be seeing a good chunk of the top 25 this year.

I don't care who you root for, it's gonna be pretty awesome watching our teams this year.

Go Utes!

But seriously folks!
Eugene, OR

Great to see the two best teams in the state receive some love from the coaches, who by the way know football best. Also great to see Fresno on the list since they just announced home & home games with the Cougs.

No mention of the little sister on the hill. I guess the recent trend continues with the Utes.

Gonna be fun for all three teams. Congrats to BYU and USU. Where's Utah.....

This is as it should be. USU and BYU the two best teams in the state being recognized for their quality football teams. I was wondering where the Utes might fall into the rankings but I guess they stop counting once they get to 100.

So, if USU is #1 in the state of Utah, BYU-#2, SUU-#3, Weber-#4, Bingham High School-#5, where does that leave us Chris? Guess I better not 'mark it down' yet.

Congrats to my Aggies, and also to byu.

I think in state games are going to be tight this year with all 3 teams... I think home field will play a huge part.

Lets go AGS!

Utah State Hey Aggies all the way...

It's fun to see the two best teams in the state getting early recognition from the poll voters. BYU, USU and Utah all face tough schedules, with 4 or 5 possible Top 25 opponents for each.

Go Cougars!

Oh, you guys are B R U T A L! How about a little kindness for the Utah football team and coaches.

Now for some of the fans? Well...

Did Chris B go on vacation? Haven't seen him on the comment boards for a while

Utah State was easily the best team in Utah last year but the question this year is the new coach. Is he up to the task ?
There is no question Utah State has the ability to be a great team but do they have the right coach ?
I hope so !!!

Number 3 is a good spot for us right now. But let's face it guys BYU is the best. USU had one good season and now everyone thinks they deserve a national title. Guess what guys, unless they are number one in the country they don't deserve it. Hope SUU's record is better this year and we get the rivalry W this year. Good luck this season to my Birds. And good luck to the Cougars. We all know what I'm gonna say about USU. Have a nice season with a new coach. It's gonna be a rough one for you.

preseason polls are especially lame when they are used as a factor in the BCS polls which determine the two teams for the national championship. Next season the preseason polls will irk me less because the committee will choose the 4 playoff teams and they aren't expected to follow what the polls say.

19, 24, 31, 36, and 41. Wow. U-State's schedule is no slouch this year. Yeah, yeah, I know, Utah plays in the PAC and BYU is playing a lot of heavy hitters, but this is not a cupcake schedule by any stretch of the imagination. Nice to be in the MWC!

love it Aggie238!

Oh stanglette... no one is saying ANYTHING about a national championship... simmer down.

hate all you want, but we can revel in the recent success.

In my earlier post I wondered if USU made the right hire. After some thought the same can be said for BYU and Utah. If either of these guys has a poor year they are gone. Bronco has much to prove after his disasterous handling of the qb's and the coaching staff.

As much as I admire KW his job as well as the AD's is on the line. If its a terrible season in SLC look for the hiring og a new coach.

Go Big Blue!!!

Aggies deserve the love with the most returning starters and clearly the best QB three years running.

That said, new coach and a brutal 1st half of the season will definitely make it interesting. It will be a fun year for football in the state of Utah.

I love my PAC/BCS membership where I can look up to teams (as they run over, around and through out team).
