Every year it seems that Northridge H.S. is ALWAYS overlooked and underestimated. Please take note of their continuous statistic the prove Northridge to be one of the toughest teams to beat in Utah. Not to mention Other states such as Ca. Tx. have noticed Northridge by inviting them to "invite only tournaments and yet the media is ALWAYs on the wrong side of the fence in veiwing their football team! LOOK AGIAN!

Northridge, REALLY!

When Northridge starts to play the types of schedules that Alta, Bingham, Jordan, and Timpview play, come back and talk. Jordan is ranked #25 in the nation to start the prep season this year. Don't come on here and trash talk on Jordan's article. All four teams that I listed above would take it to Northridge week in and week out. They all four play tough quality out of state opponents every year

what has Northridge done? They haven't even sniffed a State Title!

Someone throw water on AB8. Plz wake up from your dream. No knock on Northridge as I like them. But if you want to see what the State Championship Trophy/teams look like please email either Timpview, Jordan or Bingham. (your winning days with Freddie are long, long gone my friend).

@AB8 - I'm not sure where your comment is coming from. If we go back to 2010, since some of Northridge's seniors may have played that season...all three years...Northridge made the playoffs and then lost in the quarterfinals. Which means that Northridge is consistently one of the 8 best teams in their classification and probably one of the Top 25 teams in Utah all 3 years as well.

As far as top tier teams in the state over the past 3 seasons you would have to point to Lone Peak, Jordan, Bingham, Highland, Timpview and Logan. Any of these 6 teams could set themselves apart by winning the title again this year.

It sounds like Northridge is a good, solid and consistent team. If they can start cracking into the semifinals or even the finals...they will start getting the recognition you are looking for.

Consider yourself fortunate...Herriman is also a good team and while we have only been around for the past 3 seasons...we have made the playoffs each of those 3 seasons. However, we have yet to get into the quarterfinals...so until we do...people will still question how good we actually are.

The schedule shows that there should be an article about Spanish Fork today. I cant find it anywhere. When is it going to be put up?

AB8,

If Northridge wants to be taken seriously, then maybe their varsity team needs to man up and play Riverton this year; not just their sophs and jv. When I heard Riverton's Varsity had a bye but the sophs and jv didn't because Northridge didn't want to play the Varsity team, I lost a lot of respect for Northridge.

Oldimeftballer;
I'm no fan of Northridge but to say "what has Northridge done? They haven't even sniffed a State Title!" isn't right. They took the 5A football championship in 2000, 2001 & 2002.
The Knights haven't won a football state championship in just over a decade, but they have three to their credit. Don't take my word for it, look on the UHSAA website.
