Great article. I asked my daughters how I could be a better dad as I want to
give to them the best childhood experience possible. Their answers were sweet
sincere and perfect. They both said, and I asked the separately, that I could
not raise my voice as often. This knowledge hit right at home and I have
employed new techniques to get their attention and the results have been
wonderful for all 3 of us. I was not afraid to ask the question, rather I truly
wanted to understand how I appear in their eyes and how I can be a better dad.
There were so many sweet and wonderful comments they made about me as their
father, but I wanted to share what they asked me to do do improve. Godspeed to all Fathers trying to be the best we can for our children.
I love this article. Fathers are essential to the wellness of the family and it
is good to see that your kids understand and that you are working to do it
better. Home making is the profession for which all others exist. Keep up the
good work and please continue to share your insights.
