Wow....with women like this along with Huma Weiner and Hilary Clinton, one has to have faith in something again!

It's always a rewarding experience to see someone leave a sinful path and turn the corner to better their life. Congrats to her (and essentially all of us) who see when we make an error in life and change our behavior to something higher, something better and more virtuous than we had going before.

Good for her, proof that the gospel can change people's lives.

I know it. I Live it. I Love it.

Porn numbs our ability to correctly understand, adequately feel and appropriately and honestly express love. Knowing this, one can't help but question whether porn is an obstacle from realizing what it truly means to be human.

It is self-love, not selfless. It can't be any other way. Those who justify it refuse to accept any other possibility other than their own self-indulgence and ultimately cannot comprehend the light or truth of the matter. You can't defend what is wrong to those who know for themselves otherwise. All you can do is lead yourself and others who don't know down the rabbit hole. And if those who do think they will not be held accountable and stand in judgement for leading others down it... they will sorely wish they hadn't hurt so many lives when they have to face the truth.

We are so fortunate that there is hope. No force will ever move it from it's place. We all can change, we can choose, and we can learn to do the right thing. It may take years even, but it is free for us, it's happiness, and it cannot be destroyed.

Two hundred and seventy-eight movies!
THAT, is a lot of......films.

"he who is without sin, let him first cast a stone at her"....

These words of Jesus concerning Mary are representative of all those who decide to turn away from sin and return to God. Jesus never forgets them and he always loves them...he is always at the door ready to open if and when we decide to return.

When are the media, the health organizations, the political powers start to investigate this industry which is not healthy for those who participate or consume? When will the facts about the damage that pornography causes be a known entity to the world? Porn is like smoking, like obesity, like cancer. It damages people and leaves dysfunction in its wake. We need to culturally place it in the same status or surround it like meth or smoking or other societal ills which bring the corresponding "only an addict or a less than intelligent person" would be associated with it. I can't wait till it brings a response of "pity" and "repugnance" by society at this loathsome and terrible industry.

It is difficult in so many circumstances to change and be judged against prior actions. How much more so when those acts are memorialized on film (and virtually never to be erased). Her bravery is commendable.

Patriot,

I appreciate and agree with your general sentiment. However, the woman taken in adultery is not likely Mary.

Richard Lawson: "THAT, is a lot of......films."

In an industry where things like plot, dialog, character development, and production values are secondary concerns, features can be cranked out in a day. The number cited could represent only a year's worth of employment to a busy actor.

Dear Patriot,
I commend your example here in scripture, but want to point out that the adulteress in John 8 is described only as "the woman" and is never identified by name as Mary or anyone else. This was a falsehood perpetuated by the Catholic Church for hundreds of years. The Catholic Church officially apologized for its mis-characterization of Mary Magdalene only recently in the past few decades. Nevertheless, this scripture is sound advice for all of us mortals to refrain from unrighteous judgment. Thanks, Patriot.

Enjoyed this story. This is why missionary work is done (by all faiths) to find people who may not have found God before. If they accept God after teachings being explained to them, repent, change their lives and move on, then God will remember their sins no more.

However, many here on earth fail to follow this same path of forgivness and can never forget what someone has done in the past. That's the whole point of being active in a chosen religion! One must find a way to practice what they preach. Hopefully Brittni can help others and move on with a productive service driven life.

I hope she has found peace and happiness. I for one don't judge her a bit. Her past actions were no more sinful then the guys who paid to watch the porn.

Great story! Pornography is a scourge on society every bit as destructive and addictive as illicit drugs. Perhaps even more. It ruins marriages, destroys families, and ensnares young boys giving them a perverted and unrealistic portrayal of human sexuality, as well as a degrading view of women. It is well documented that most child abusers and serial killers are hard core porn addicts. Hard core porn dehumanizes its subjects into nothing more than animals, making it easier for would be murderers to view killing a person as no different than slaughtering an animal. This is why it is found all over Al-Qaeda computers that are captured by intelligence operatives. They use it to train young suicide bombers into thinking that westerners are just filthy animals worthy of slaughter. It is truly one of the greatest evils of our modern civilization.

Most people reinvent themselves at some point in their lives, some of us more than once. When I look back at the person I was years ago, it feels surreal to think that was really me once upon a time. It was.

This former porn actress will hear condescending comments like, glad you saw the light. Some will doubt that she sticks with it for the long haul. Some might even wait to see her fall so they can exult, I told you so.

None of that should matter. People are fickle and friends can disappoint you. Let’s root for all those making the difficult effort to climb to a higher level from wherever they were at.

Some liberal will be along any minute now to remind us porn is harmless and doesn't hurt anyone.

All. . . . All. . . . must repent from wrongdoing while we can. This is a heartwarming story of a girl who got caught up in activity not approved by God or mortal/moral man. She is to be commended and encouraged to continue to forgo this lifestyle and forgive herself, which seems to have been accomplished. It's good to see this kind of story in the news.

A great story! We should all keep praying for all these young women to find the same healing and love through our Savior! Awesome.

Virtually all women who become involved in the porn industry were sexually abused as children or teens, not to mention the abuse they often endure during the "films." Their mindset then becomes, "I guess this is all I'm good for, so I may as well make it a career." For this reason, men who watch pornography become complicit in the sexual abuse of females. They are the demand that keeps the supply going.

Moral sins are very grevious transgressions. For those of you who are Mormons out there remember that Alma states that only murder surpasses sexual transgression in seriousness. That being said, it is a forgiveable offense and I applaud her for changing her life for the better. I hope she can stick with it and endure to the end and I hope her repentance is true, sincere and Godly. The Atonement of Christ covers all, yes, even those in the porn industry.
