My concern over locally produced food stems from the pollution it is grown in
... air, soil, and water. The idea of eating produce with TCE introduced
through the water and soil, pesticides from indiscriminate spraying, milk with
perchlorates, etc. The State needs to step up its efforts to insure that not
only our air is clean but also that the food is safe. Until the State takes the
industrial pollution that is occurring in the State seriously and addresses it
in a meaningful way, I will prefer eating foods grown from outside of Utah.
