That's nice and all, but what else are they going to say? His summer performance was brutal, and while it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be a bust, it didn't exactly inspire Jazz fans' imaginations.

On the bright side, maybe expecations will be a tempered now. Rookie averages of, say, 12 and 6 would seem more realistic than Lillardesque, ROY-worthy numbers, though hopefully Burke can match Damien's so-so shooting percentages.

I have seen some of the things Trey can do for a long time.It was only a wish and a dream to get him. I suggested to others for that exact trade. I could not believe my eyes when it came accross the board.. This whole team will be fun to watch. Can't wait..

Should we be worried that a month after the draft, Burke and Favors still haven't met each other?

No, Burke has been in summer league. Favors has been working out with Team USA.

Good to hear comments with a positive vibe. I also feel lucky as a fan that the Jazz got Burke. I only saw him in two games during the NCAA tournament. The dude is fierce. He's got some Tony Parker in him. His teammates liked him, too. Go Jazz!
