In years past, we, (who live ouside of Utah) WERE able to see the Pioneer Day Parade
on TV via the BYU-TV channel, which goes all over the world on the cable and/or satellite.

Last year, and it looks like this year ALSO, BYU-TV is NOT going to give us any opportunity
to see this year's Pioneer Day Parade.

Not going to let us see the current Prophet Thomas S. Monson and others in the
Pioneer Day Parade!!

What could be more "LDS" than the Pioneer Day Parade??

In past years the BYU-TV coverage was tape delayed (timewise) like later in the day
or even on the following weekend. This should have taken care of any
"diluted Channel 5 KSL-TV" audience concerns.

I doubt that the Prophet, himself, wants us outside of Utah to miss out on this, BUT it Does Appear that some Broadcasters, who operate in Utah, don't give a darn about those who live outside of Utah's boundaries.

How can we learn How to Share better and Be more Generous??

I hate to rain on your parade (pun intended) but the Pioneer Day Parade isn't all that "LDS" any more.

Even if it was broadcast so you could see it, you may not have seen Pres. Monson. He often is not in the parade as the First Presidency tends to rotate who is riding.
